Uploading References from Web of Science

Postby camilla.parpia » Mon May 29, 2017 9:47 am

How can I upload references from the database: Web of Science? When I tried to convert the results to a txt file, DistillerSR was unable to identify any results. Is it possible to convert the files to EndNote online and then export the files to DistillerSR?

Thanks!

Hi Carmilla,

Distiller supports the RIS export file format. As long as you can get your references exported into this format, you will be able to upload them into Distiller.

I have provided a link below that explains the RIS formatting. One additional field we look for in the RIS file is the ID field, we use this to number the references as they are uploaded into Distiller, if that field is missing from your RIS file, then you must provide Distiller a starting reference number at step 2 of the upload process.

Cheers,
